What can this calculator do?

This is a classic four-function calculator for everyday arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, plus a smart percentage key. It handles chained calculations like 250 + 18 − 40 × 2 with correct order of operations, and decimal numbers of any length.

How the % button works

Like a pocket calculator, % takes the percentage of the previous number:

  • 50 + 10% = 55 (adds ten percent of 50)
  • 200 − 15% = 170 (a 15% discount)
  • 200 × 10% = 20
  • 50% on its own = 0.5
